Barnes & Noble Night!

One of my favorite dates with my husband is going to the book store to devour all the magazines.  We both grab at least ten magazines, then we sit down with our favorite drinks and show each other 'eye catching' pictures of things we love.  Here are some random pictures that stood out to me:

I could not help but notice these adorable light shades made out of old sweaters, they are so charming!

Such a creative room; this coffee table is a shortened galvanized metal counter.

I loved this pictures because I have the same light fixture in my entry way!

  4. I am right there with you on the trip to Barnes & Noble. It is so much fun seeing the new shelter issues and Interior Design books every month.

  5. What fun photos and what a fun night out with the hubby. My husband wouldn't come within ten feet of a design magazine. On the other hand, I can not get enough of the French and Danish style of decor. I would love to get my hands on copies of these in the US. Thanks for sharing. Lori

  8. To try to help your blog even more beautiful, let me share these tips: When you scan from magazines or books, use a higher resolution than 300 dpi in order to get larger images when you resize for web. People with small screens prefer larger images.
Also, make sure that "descreen" is selected and see how it works in combination with the other settings. Different combinations result in different image quality. Play a little and see which combination you like better.

Thanks so much for your blog, I love the content and the inspiration is great.

  9. We have a regular "Barnes" and/or "Borders" night. One of our favorite activities! Although I sincerely wish I could go to your Barnes and Noble - it seems you have a much better selection of magazines.
    Really, really loving your blog.
