Charming Cottages From Around The World

For the last year I have been living in a very large home that has been overwhelming to take care of.  I often find myself looking at charming cottages wishing my life were a little more simple.
Some words of advice for many of you who dream to have a larger home... DON'T DO IT!!
Less is more!  Keep things simple!
Nothing is better than a perfect size home that meets the needs your family.  I can't stand large, boxy homes with no detail or thought... what a waste.
Small, simple and charming is what it's all about!
Below are some images of charming fairy tale homes:

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

  6. I so agree with you about keeping it small. Our home looks large, but with a family of six every room is busy.
I've always found huge houses rather sad and empty feeling.
Glad to have found your blog, I came to you via La Brocanteuse.
